I'm sitting here in front of the computer on an unremarkable Sunday; I shall smoke a cigarette and think about last night's washing up soon. The cigarette will remind me of how much I drank yesterday. I currently feel fine. So - an unremarkable Sunday.
Today, though, is new years eve, my first ever away from England. I would normally be looking forward to a London style turbo charged ecstasy fuelled roysta- doyst; I have never, since being able, gone anything other than potty on NYE.
So what will tonight bring? Well, I daresay that much of the ex-pat community will be, whisper it, having a few drinks this evening, in that not very but, oooh, why not it is our gap year decadant style that I've noticed here.
I can't wait. Happy new year.

Hell Valley
It's callled Hell Valley but it's a really nice place that we visited. It's one of only two places like this in the world! This is steam pouring out of mother earth. There is a sign there that says "Boiling eggs is forbidden".
